I don’t think Zappos really needs another positive online review. They must have thousands. The founder of that company is a pure genius. But I cannot let this review not get a mention for the unbelievable service this outfit gives. It is a true testament to their success and I reckon it is this type of service that has set them apart from the industry.
I ordered a couple of dresses online from Zappos. For some reason one of the dresses sent was the wrong size. Somehow they must have messed up. I called them on the phone and they sent the same day another dress out to me in the correct size. They didn’t wait for me to return the other one first, they immediately got the correct one sent out to me and trusted I would send the other one back which of course I did using their self-addressed mailing sticker at no cost to me.
I also did not like one of the other dresses I ordered. That was not their fault, it was mine. I had changed my mind on it. I sent that one back as well, also at no cost to me and they sent me another dress instead without charging me any more for shipping. Who does this? How do they even make a profit on this? Imagine going to a store to buy a dress, spending the time to drive out to the mall, parking, going into the store, trying something on, buying it, bringing it home, the husband not liking it, taking it back, picking another one….
Buying online is a dream. See something you like. Order it. If you don’t like it send it back at no cost to you and get something else. This is so easy. Zappos have the formula and it is for good reason they have built their client base so well.
